SOGEUM

Sogeum makes the highest and brightest sounds among wind instruments and the smallest in comparison to Daegeum and Junggeum. The method of playing is the same as Daeguem. Still, it played with seven notes higher than Daegeum that makes clear as silvery voice, and with lots of ornaments, grace makes splendid sounds. This used Hwangjuk or Ssangoljuk, and the thickness becomes thinner toward the side of blow winds.
