QQUNGGWARI

This is an instrument to make its sounds by hitting, which is also called Shae, Qquangmaegi, Qqangchi, and Gwangshae. The size of the instrument is small but have a sound of thunder. Usually used to amuse interest.

Qquangwaari is made of metal, with a hollow shape on the side. Make two holes on the side and put a thread to make it as a handle. Chae (stick used to hit the surface) is made of bamboo, cut it into 1/2span of adult hand

When the player play the instrument, they hit the surface slanted. It is because to prevent to have cracks or breaks of metal. And using the hand either to put on the surface or not can help it to adjust the sound.
