BAK
Bak is an instrument made of wood from one of the birches. There is six wood that is connected with leather made of deerskin. Usually played when the music starts and when it ends.
Bak was usually played at the beginning of the Jang-gu for Hwangak and every four beats during Dangak. However, these days, it regularly played once at the beginning of the music and more than three times when the music end. These days, it usually used in Munmyu Jaerhaeak.
Bak usually played like a fan. It opens its ribs of the fan and closes fast. Then it will have its sounds.
