PIRI

Piri is a wind instrument that also called Pilryul. Piri estimated that it was enjoyed for a long time ago. Piri used long bamboo trees, then make holes and can make various sounds. To play Piri, put a piece of bamboo bark called ‘Seo’. Seo is the piece of bamboo bark that makes flat on the end part. Seo has used two layers of the inner bark of a bamboo tree and needs to soak to the water before use. This will help Seo not to break easily.  Since it will make a gap in between the layers, can easily put breathe. There are three types of Piri which are Hyangpiri, Dangpiri, and Sepiri.
