Nagak is a wind instrument which also called as Na, Nara, or Sora. Nagak is a piri that made with big top shell (conch shell) that made Nagak not to have its specific size. It was usually played during Military music, Yeonryeak, or Jaerhaeak and play Daechita. Nagak played together with Taephyengso, Nabal, Jing, Jabara, and Yongo. Also, this instrument plays alternately with Nabal with the sound of ‘Buu—‘ that structures the music. Those who are playing Nagak in the military called Chirageun or Chirajek

Nagak makes a hole in the end part of the shell and puts Chigu where they can breathe in. Nagak is usually playing while standing by holding Nagak’s open part facing up with the right hand and thumb inside the Nagak. Then, breathe into the Chigu that making Buu— sound. It has a long sound when player blow, with low and loud sounds, depends on the shape and size.
